Large child friendly, ground floor maisonette with both a secure private and communial garden, nestled between the beautiful Surrey Countryside and hustle and bustle of London and all it has to offer - Epsom

All that is needed to have a fantastic family holiday.

We have a very large, spacious and bright living room with a playroom just off it, stuffed with toys. This space has a larger than normal corner sofa that you can all snuggle up in for movies after your adventurous and fun filled days. There is also a dining table that comfortably sits 6 for those family dinners or take-away nights if you don`t fancy cooking.

Patio doors lead from there to our enclosed private garden. This is a great area for all the family to enjoy the guaranteed South of England Sunshine in those summer months, but also the many dry months that we enjoy throughout the year. There is beautiful garden furniture and a BBQ. From our own private garden there is a very large enclosed community garden which is just extends this fabulous outdoor space.

The rest of the maisonette is pretty straight forward - There is a large double bedroom, a further two single bedrooms and one toddler bedroom. And of course the fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and tumble drier and a bathroom with separate toilet (please note although our home is lovely, bright, fresh and spacious the kitchen has not yet been upgraded to the modern standard we would prefer. This room is still a working progress).

And we have a lovely fluffy cat called Suki. She is extremely independent and usually sleeps all day and goes out at night. Now and then she will want to chat and sit on your lap. We also have a friendly guinea pig called Marshall. She would need a little TLC by guests staying in our home.

About the location

What is even more exciting for anyone choosing to stay in our home it the surrounding area.

Gatwick airport is only 40minutes away.

And in the area there is so much to offer for every appetite:

On one side we have the beautiful Surrey Hills with Chessington World of Adventure and Hobbledown Childrens Fun Farm just 5minutes drive away. Then just 20 or so minutes away we have Bockets Childrens Farm (The biggest and best farm and outdoor adventure playground you will ever visit, guaranteed); Box Hill for a great hike and view; Denby`s Vineyard one of the largest wine providers in the UK; Garsons Farm where the children and whole family can pick their own fruit and veg (and then together you can come home and enjoy all that fresh produce); Wisley Gardens with a great outdoor natural playpark for the kids and beautifully displayed flower beds; The Bluebell Railway Steam Train for a cross country adventure, Thorpe Park for the older children and the list goes on and on.

On the other side is London, just a 25minute direct train journey away where you can visit all the great sites of London: The London Eye; Big Ben; Houses of Parliament; 10 Downing Street; Madamn Tussaudes; The British Museum; Covent Garden Markets; The Planitarium; The Natural History Museum (my personal favourite); the Science Museum; take an Open Top Red Bus City Tour; Have afternoon Tea at the Ritz; Visit Harrods; again the list goes on and on.

And much closer to home you have the beautiful historic market town of Kingston Upon Thames (just 20minutes drive by car), Hampton court Palace (again just 20minutes by car) or Epsom town itself, also a market town with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, a cinema and great shopping centre.

Within walking distance (just 8 minutes away) you have a fantastic pub (The Cricketers) on the Cricket Green, a small grocery story and a lovely coffee shop.

And if all that isn`t enough then perhaps you will want to visit Brighton Beach- just one hour away.

The challenge won`t be what shall we do? It will more be how to we possibly squeeze all this in? You`ll simply have to come back again to do that.
