Perfectly located modern apartment close to Bilbao - The Basque Country, North of Spain

We live in a 140m apartment located in the centre of Getxo, a city of 80.000 habitants by the coast at only 20 minutes from the Capital Bilbao and close to beaches and lovely places to go for a walk, ride a bicycle or practice sports. We have a large cultural program in our town offering a great variety of plans (concerts, festivals, cinema, theater, etc). There are many shops, restaurants, pubs and commercial areas.

Transport communications are extremely good and we have connections with all relevant locations without the need of a car. The nearest underground station is only 5 minutes walking from our home, with trains every 10 minutes that will allow you to enjoy many different plans.

Our home is modern and comfortable, recently refurbished and fully furnished and well-equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The apartment sleeps up to ideally maximum 5 people in 3 bedrooms, two of them are large and doubles and the other one is single. There are two bathrooms, one incorporated in the main bedroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and modern, with a very spacious area to eat in it. There is a seating room that we normally use for reading and painting although we will soon refurbish into an office to work from home. The living room is 35 m² large with two differentiated areas, one with sofas to relax reading books or watching TV, another one with a big extendable dining table for up to 8 people with large windows giving access to a small balcony. There is central-heating, hi-fi, free wi-fi, printer and TV in all rooms.

It is a great option for couples and families alike. We can offer our housekeeper services if required.

The Basque Country, ranked in the 3rd place in the world with the highest level of life satisfaction, has a great variety of cultural offer to enjoy: recognized Museums, Theaters, Aditoriums, International music festivals, etc. Not to forget the 'wine' culture, since we count with a variety of vineyards and wineries you can visit in La Rioja, where you can test some of our famous wines.

Gastronomy is also part of our culture. In 2011 the Basque Culinary Center, a pioneering academic institution worldwide with the involvement of eleven of the most influential Top Chefs in the world, was opened with the aim to provide higher education, research, innovation and promotion of gastronomy and nutrition.You can enjoy an unforgettable meal in one of the several Michelin Stars Restaurants or simple having a great time in any of the thousands 'bars' offering a great variety of elaborated 'pintxos'.
