San Rocco - Procida

Comfortable, restored 300 year old fisherman dwelling on 2 levels. It is easily reached by foot from the main port and is located directly above the picturesque port of Corricella. Local vegetables, fruit and wine can be found in minutes from the house, as well as churches and beaches. The island has distinctive architecture, narrow streets with large hidden gardens of lemon and orange trees.

About the location

Procida is the smallest of 3 islands in the Bay of Naples, the others being Ischia and Capri. Procida is a simple working island with rich cultural traditions underpinned by its strong relationship to religious belief, family, food, music and the sea. The island cannot support mass tourism but in the summer months the population swells with families and Neapolitans . The island has featured in films such as Il Postino and The Talented Mr Ripley.
Easily reached from Naples by ferry or hydrofoil in under an hour, the port is a 15 minute bus trip from Naples airport.
