The Roost Cottage
The Roost cottage is our two bedroomed self contained holiday home that we also have for let on the Airbnb website, where we have a five star rating as hosts. You can view online if you key in 'The Roost Cottage, Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire. It is situated on our farm in Maryculter village 8 miles south west of Aberdeen city. It is cosy, clean and nicely furnished, with all necessary amenities.
The location is rural so a car is essential. Location is handy for visiting the nearby fishing town of Stonehaven, the market towns of Banchory, Ballater, Braemar, the Cairngorms and the city of Aberdeen.
About the location
Maryculter village lies on the south side of the river Dee and which is part of the Royal Deeside. The area is very popular for its scenic walks, fishing and golfing. There are also lots of enjoyable places to visit for cultural and musical events, eating out and shopping etc.
