We live in a small cul de sac of approximately 20 houses built around a communal green.

We have happily lived here for 10 years and believe this a very safe and comfortable place to stay. We have 2 children under 10 and this is a very child friendly place with a number of children in the close.

The property was built in the 1930's and we have modernised, extended and opened up the kiitchen/dining room to make a large family room. This room has bi-fold windows which opens out to a decking area and lawned garden. At the front of the house there is a lounge with a log burner and comfortable sofas for watching tv or curling up with a book. There is also a downstairs toilet

On the 1st floor there are 2 double rooms and a single room. These are currently used as 2 children's rooms and a spare single bedroom. This floor also provides a family bathroom with separate bath and shower.

We have extended into the loft/attic which provides a full height spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower room. There is room for 2 cars on the front drive.

About the location

New Eltham is situated in the south east of London in a quiet village within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. There are local shops, with library, restaurants and a pub. There are also 2 parks within walking distance of the house. New Eltham station is 5 minutes walk from the house and has a regular direct train service into London with Charing Cross Station approximately 30 minutes away.

There is also a local bus service that can take you direct to the historic sites of Greenwich, to Eltham Palace and other parts of Kent and South East London. If you have access to a car we are 2 minutes from the A20/M20 and A2/M2 taking you to different areas of the Kent coast including some excellent beaches. We are also 10 mins drive to the M25 giving easy access to London, Home Counties including Gatwick (30mins) and Heathrow (50 mins) , Stanstead (1 hour).
