Burton Bradstock is 2.5 miles from Bridport on the route to Weymouth and central to the Jurassic Coast, World Heritage Site one of the most beautiful areas of the south west, with outstanding scenery in all directions along the coast and moving inland. Within a reasonable radius there are a number of places of natural or historical interest, as well as many family attractions.
Bridport is a charming market town with a range of shops and eating places. The market on Saturday is a great place to stock up with holiday supplies. Bridport also has a leisure centre with swimming facilities catering for all ages. Close by at West Bay is an eighteen hole links golf course that welcomes visitors. West Bay is also one of the settings for the fictional ITV series Broadchurch, and the cliffs are even more spectacular in real life.
