Beautiful Lake District semi detached cottage next to National Trust property Dora's Field

The cottage is a 170 year old building in the heart of the English Lake District. It sits across the road from Rydal Water, one of the most beautiful lakes and at the base of the Fairfield Horseshoe under Nab Scar.
The cottage has a 2 tiered patio area behind with garden furniture and a pizza oven. There is also a garden to the side. In the living room is a woodburning stove. Above the garden is Rydal Church (where Wordsworth was once a rector).
Wordsworth's house, Rydal Mount is also about 3 minutes away alongside Rydal Hall with its beautiful gardens and waterfalls.
The house is well stocked with books and films.

About the location

This is arguably the most beautiful part of the country. Filled with mountains and lakes, stunning scenery and beautiful walks.
Ambleside is a thriving small town with lots of independent shops selling a variety of goods. (it is known as the anorak capital of the world due to a proliferation of outdoor clothing shops).
It also boasts five cinema screens with art films and live streams from the National Theatre and Covent Garden Opera as well as family films and mainstream entertainment.
There are also many places to eat to suit all tastes and budgets.
It is a place from which you can holiday without a car, as Ambleside is 15 minutes walk away and there are dozens of different places that can easily reached on foot (as long as you aren't on crutches!). But it is also good to have one to get to places further afield. Either way you can see plenty.
There is also a fine old pub about two minutes walk away serving food and real ales.
