Beautiful apartment in a condominium, just a few steps to a private Mar Menor beach and to the Mediterranean

2- Bedroom apartment. Main bedroom - with double bed and en suite bathroom (with 2 sinks and bathtub), bedroom 2 with 3 beds and travel cot also available. The other bathroom has a shower. Both bedrooms and living room with ceiling fan. Well equipped kitchen open to the living room with American bar. Nice terrace with great view of the Mar Menor Sea. We have a table with 6 chairs at the terrrace.
2 communal swimming pools, tennis court and playground, few steps from the Mar Menor private beach and 250 meters to the Mediterranean beaches.
It is the second floor of the building (with elevator) and downstairs we have a big garage for 2 cars, with everything to enjoy a perfect day at the beach (inflatable boat, parasol, etc.), including bikes (2 adults and 2 kids).
It is our second home.
Although the area is very hot during the summer, the house is open to both seas and there is always fresh air from the ocean.

About the location

La Manga is a very narrow strip of land with 2 seas. The interior one is the Mar Menor Sea, kind of an interior sea salted lagoon with curative mud properties, high concentration of salt, and high temperature of the water. The temperature of the Mar Menor Sea gets up to more than 30 degrees Celsius during the summer, so that you can stay inside the water for hours. You can take your portable chair and just sit inside as it has no waves and it has no depth.
On the other side of the strip of land, there is the Mediterranean Sea, with kilometers of open white sand beaches. As the land is quite narrow there is no place for any more construction, and even during the highest season (August) you won’t have any problem getting a spot for yourself at the first line of the water (and that is not very usual anywhere else around).
La Manga is well equipped with all services (supermarket, bars, all kind of restaurants, pharmacy, port and all kind of entertainments for kids and adults).
There is a nature coastal reserve half an hour distance by car with incredible beaches and no buildings at all, called Calblanque (our preferred place to go almost every day when we visit), and Cabo de Palos with its lighthouse, less than 10 minutes away by car or bus.
It is a flat area, perfect for walking or riding bicycle (there is a special purpose lane for bikes though the entire strip of land). The Mar Menor is perfect for the practice of all kind of nautical sports and fishing. You can see fishes, crabs, and seahorses after a few minutes of observation.
There is a great golf course just 30 minutes away by car (La Manga Golf Resort Club), and a good spot for scuba diving (Islas Hormigas).
