A terraced cottage, 150 years old, part of a former flax mill. It lies at the end of a private road, has a sunny garden room overlooking a large, well-established garden, and a studio down the lane. Part of a small community of eight cottages set in a Special Landscape Area, less than one kilometre from the historic small town of Eye.

About the location

North Suffolk offers the best of both worlds. The countryside is unspoilt and quiet, with minor roads linking a number of picturesque villages. Just down the road, Eye (pop. under 2000) has a variety of small shops and services, and it is just a short trip to get to the coast, with its mix of genteel resorts, sandy beaches and wildlife sites. At the mainline rail station at Diss, a few miles away, you can catch trains to Norwich and to London Liverpool Street.
