3 Bed Duplex with mountain views, 20 minutes from Spain's voted best beaches

Our home is a large new build Duplex located in the small town of pedreguer. We are 15 - 20 minutes from some of Spain´s best voted beaches in Javea and Denia and only 5 minutes from the biggest shopping centre in the Marina Alta.

We are on the top floor of the complex (4th floor with lift) and have beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the little windmills on them. Down stairs there is an entrance hall leading onto the large living/dining room (with chaise lounge sofa, 42 inch smart TV and dining set) then there is a spacious separate kitchen (with washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave) a nice sized balcony also comes off of the kitchen and living room. Along the hall way there are 2 childrens bedrooms, one is set up with bunk beds and has a full on-suite (and a trampoline) and the other has a single bed and a cot. On this level there is also another small bathroom with a shower.

Upstairs there is the large master bedroom (with curtain "doors" instead of traditional doors) an on-suite bathroom with shower, a toddler bed, TV and a large terrace with dining set, sun lounger, BBQ and a play house for children. The stairs have baby gates at the top and bottom.

The communal gardens have a large pool with grass surrounding it and a separate elevated tanning area if you want more privacy away from the pool.

The apartment is very light and airy, there is plenty of parking outside or in the underground garage with elevator access, there is air conditioning in the living room and fans in the bedrooms for the Summer months and a portable gas heater for the Winter. A car exchange is also available.

About the location

We are in a pretty town that has a lovely market just down the road (2 minute walk) every Sunday, it has a supermarket (Mas y Mas), a Pharmacy, Bank and an indoor soft play centre all only 10 minute walk or less from the front door! all very convenient but with the peace of being just outside of the main part of town. There is also a bus stop outside the apartment that goes directly to the cities of Valencia and Alicante.

There are plenty of walks into the countryside or (on our doorstep) there is a lovely walk up a small mountain to the old windmills at the top. There are also some historic caves only 10 minutes from the apartment and a few small market towns within 10 minutes that are perfect for exploring local village life.

There is a large commercial shopping centre 5 minutes in the car away with all the classic shops H&M, Pull & Bear, C&A, Jack Jones, Eroski, Casa, Desigual etc...
There is also a Burger King, Mc Donalds, Fosters Hollywood, Japanese Restaurant, Pans Company etc... and a Cinema.

The two picturesque beach side towns close by are Javea and Denia (15 minutes to each in different directions) which are very beautiful. Javea is set up in 3 main areas, the Old Town (a historic area with trendy restaurants and shops mingled amongst tiny cobbled streets and town houses) The port is small, accommodating more for Yachts, boats and the local fishermen, here you can buy fresh fish in the evening that has literally just come off the boat! The Arenal area is the newest area and has a long beach side promenade filled with modern restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours, small shops and a night club. During the Summer months this is lined with market stalls selling handy crafts and other small items. the beaches of Javea range from Sandy (Arenal) to rocky (the Port and other surrounding coves) Snorkelling is a must here and there are daily boat trips to the isolate coves and over to Denia. The beach road leading from the Port to the Arenal is also lined with traditional make-shift Chiringuitos (beach bars) during the Summer months.

Denia is a larger town with a huge sandy beach that stretches all the way up the coast to Oliva (30 minutes away by car!) there is a big port here with the Ferry to Ibiza and other Islands departing several times a day. The Marina has a long promenade that is lined with trendy restaurants and bars (one with a roof top pool) it is a lovely place to stroll and have a glass of wine in the evenings, if you have children bring their scooter as is it great for wizzing up and down while you have a quiet casual walk.

The main area of Denia town is filled with bigger shops, Like Druni etc.. and on Sundays the main street is pedestrian only and is a lovely place to spend a couple of hours.

We also have several theme parks and water parks within a 40 minute drive from the house.
