Detached 3 bedroom in friendly village on the edge of Peak District within 30mins of Manchester

It is a peaceful 3 bedroomed family home in a cul-de-sac with a wonderful rural view to the rear which can be enjoyed especially from the conservatory. There is a large double bedroom, single bedroom with cotbed, and bathroom with shower and bath upstairs. Downstairs there is a further double with a shower room next door. There is also a very comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. There is a choice of dining around the high table in the kitchen to see the view, or a large table in the dining room. The beds all have high quality, new mattresses.

For those with young families like us, we have stairgates fitted at the top and bottom of the stairs as well as toddler locks on the cupboards and covers on the plugs. There is also a highchair available if needed.

About the location

Bollington is a friendly village with a strong community feel on the edge of the Peak District and is yet only 20 minutes by train (from a station 3miles away) to the museums, galleries, shopping and nightlife of Manchester.

Within easy walking distance is a lovely pub restaurant, a swimming pool, parks, canal and the Middlewood way (which is a converted railway track allowing safe and easy cycling through the surrounding countryside).

It is an excellent base for exploring further afield too with a one stop train service to Central London in under 2 hours. Liverpool, Birmingham, Sheffield and Leeds are within 90 mins. The beaches and mountains of North Wales are only a couple of hours, as is the Lake District, and Glasgow can be reached by train/car in half a day.
