About the location
Our house is close to the River Thames and the Wetlands Nature Reserve. There are several shops nearby and you can walk or get the bus to Hammersmith for tube links.
Barnes village is also a short walk away and despite only being 30 minutes from London it feels like it is a leafy country village. It has good transport links, great independent shops, restaurants and a cinema housed in the legendary Olympic Recording Studios.
Richmond Park, Kew and Wimbledon are all close by and there are regular bicycle routes using river and other cycle tracks. 15 mins to Kensington (Museums and winter skating at Natural History Museum) or Sloane Square . 30 mins train to Central London.
