We are offering a choice of 2 three bedroom homes. Both are modern, well designed and nicely appointed properties in small enclaves of very smart and expensive houses. The Sydney home overlooks the Manly Dam catchment area on Sydney's Northern Beaches and Nelson Bay has extensive water views over Port Stephens harbour and the coastline to the North. Both homes are constructed of brick and are situated in very quiet neighbourhoods. The Sydney home boasts a large master bedroom with a walk-in robe and a generous ensuite with double basins and showers. Nelson Bay master bedroom has an ensuite and built in robes. In both homes the lounge, dining room and kitchen are open planned and the downstairs areas have two double bedrooms with built in robes, a second lounge room (both of which have a modern double bed-settee), large bathrooms, huge garages and separate laundries. Sydney boasts all the modern conveniences including high speed WiFi, security sensors and reverse cycle air conditioning. Nelson Bay is an elevated property and enjoys the warmth of all day sun in Winter and cool sea breezes in Summer and stunning water and coastal views. The homes have balconies on which to dine or relax and enjoy the sunshine and in Nelson Bay, the magnificent views. Both have rear yards with undercover areas and small easy care gardens. Anyone interested in a simultaneous or non-simultaneous swap would have a choice of either staying in the wonderful city of Sydney or in the beautiful and tranquil seaside resort of Nelson Bay. About the location

The Sydney property is surrounded by national park and there are numerous short and long walks through beautiful bush with a range of native birds and wildlife. The Northern Beaches offer a huge choice a beautiful sandy beaches, excellent restaurants, great shopping, many sporting activities, tremendous views and a very relaxed lifestyle. It is hard to believe you are in Australia's largest city but the home is only 20-30 mins drive to the CBD and the iconic Sydney harbour and surrounds. The bus stop is only a 5 min walk from the house and buses run to both the CBD and to the Manly ferry terminal for a wonderful trip to the city by slow ferry or fast cat. The garage houses a fairly new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 which is offered as a car exchange for either this or the Nelson Bay property.
Nelson Bay is one of many bays which surround the Port Stephens waterways. It is a highly desirable holiday destinations and offers beautiful safe sandy beaches in the Bay area or, for the more adventurous, fantastic and extensive surf beaches with the largest sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. It too is surrounded by national park and offers some nice and not overcrowded restaurants, a marina, cinema and a wide range of shops including a shopping mall. The home is a 45 min journey to the bustling city of Newcastle and the main East Coast train line. Newcastle airport is 30 mins away and has flights to major cities around Australia. Nearby are the excellent Hunter Valley wineries and really nice countryside, with a number of English style villages including the obligatory pubs. The area offers some fantastic walks, swimming, boating, wind and kite surfing, fishing and, for the avid golfer, a huge range of golf courses.
