About the location

The village of Winterton has direct access to a beautiful sandy beach and miles of sand dunes to explore. The beach is only a 5 min walk from the house. Winteron has an award winning pub, The Fishermans Return, as well as a fish and chip shop, village store and post office and not forgetting the beach cafe with it's fine range of hot and cold food as well as cakes and ice creams. You won't want to leave the village but if you do Winterton is only 2 miles from the famous Norfolk Broads. The larger village of Martham has a boat yard for boat and canoe hire. There are numerous walks and nature reserves in the immediate area. The broads village of Potter Heigham is less than 5 miles away. The traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth is 7 miles from the village and has everything a seaside town should have.
