Beautiful home with stunning views of South Coast

The house is 10 years old and is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout with the accommodation arranged over 4 floors. Our home is situated in an exclusive development right on the sea front and has sensational views of the beach and English Channel from all the principal rooms.

The spacious main bedroom has an ensuite and balcony with table and chairs. This is such a relaxing room - you can lie in bed and watch the waves breaking. There is another large bedroom with a kingsize bed and the same wonderful views. The third bedroom has a double bed and there is a pull down single bed if required. These two bedrooms share a well appointed bathroom and shower.

On the first floor there is a large lounge which is beautifully furnished with comfortable sofas and a large all channels TV. The South facing, sunny lounge has double french doors which open onto a decked terrace. There is a large wooden dining table and chairs and a gas barbecue. Its a lovely place to enjoy alfresco meals or just to watch the sun set over the sea whilst enjoying a glass of wine. There are also two wooden steamers for relaxing on in the sunshine.

The kitchen/dinner is well equipped with gas hob, electric fan oven, dishwasher and Gaggia coffee machine. On the ground floor level there is a cloakroom and utility room with washing machine and dryer. The large double garage also houses additional fridge and freezers and plenty of equipment for enjoying the nearby beach.

About the location

Seaford is a small town on the South Coast, it has lovely boutique cafes and nice restaurants. There is a a long stretch of shoreline and beautiful white cliffs. Seaford has many nice little pubs and we especially like the Wellington which is a stones throw from the house. Seaford has many small independent shops and a major supermarket to stock up. For quirky and fashionable shops head to Brighton or for some serious retail therapy, London is only 1hr away on the train.

The south coast has a range of fabulous art galleries which are all within easy reach. Lewes offers open-air Shakepeare performances in the gardens of a Norman castle. The world-renowned Glyndebourne Opera House is a wonderful experience. There are many National Trust sites nearby, including Virginia Wolfe's house and the home of the Bloomsbury group. It is also easy to reach many castles, stately homes which are always lovely to visit.

The beach affords a wealth of watersports and fitness route. You can hire bikes at Cuckmere Haven, which is close by on the South Downs. There is a local swimming pool and gym within easy walking distance where you can take part in classes such as spin and yoga. A fabulous golf course is nearby and an outdoor gym only 5 minutes along the beach from the house.

London is a must when staying in Seaford, and Brighton is a great place to visit. Just 5 minutes train ride away you can get a ferry over to France and enoy a cider and moules in a harbour-side cafe in Dieppe! The historic county town of Lewes is steeped in History with the Castle, Anne of Cleves house and the Ruins of a Priory destoyed by Henry VIII.
