Beautiful rural Swedish house in the Forests of Lapland

Hello there. If you enjoy the countryside and the Forest then you will love our Swedish home. This traditional wooden house with a sauna is the perfect retreat for country lovers . The home is cosy and has everything in it including all kitchen bits and bobs and a lovely wood fire and if you fancy it acouple of mountain bikes. There is a lake a 5 minute walk away and if you are a keen walker or jogger you will be over joyed with the forest. During the winter there is nothing but snow and raindeer. Moose can also be seen.
The pace of life is slow so maybe this is not the place for night life. We love it. It's very magical but be prepared for silence and peace.

About the location

The house is in a little hamlet mostly occupied by summer residents. People are very friendly and everyone speaks English. The nearest town is Norsjo and again wonderful people. There are a few shops here but not too much action. The tourist centre will give you details on activities, ski resorts, trips to Norway by bus. skelleftea is a large university town and is around one hours drive from our house. Amazing supermarkets with cheese to die for! Also the people are so honest I have never seen a bike locked up. Roads are spectacular- quiet and clear in winter.
