Georgian home in the heart of a picturesque Scottish village

Our home is a large Georgian property with a countryside style well established garden. Originally the bank managers house it is filled with original features, such as the sash windows throughout and the flagstones in the cloak cupboard. Five of the six bedrooms are currently usable (sixth is being used for storage until I find the time to turn it into a sewing room/second guest bedroom). We have four children so we can provide pretty much any equipment/toys your little ones might need during your stay. We have started decorating some of the rooms, so it's not in perfect decorative condition throughout, but it's certainly a lovely and liveable home and a fantastic place to visit. Our home is shared with three very lovely cats who will be pleased to meet you. :)

About the location

Fochabers is a beautiful little village on the banks of the river Spey in the heart of Morayshire. This area is well known for whisky and there are many trails and distilleries to explore as well as castles, golf courses and beautiful beaches. The countryside is truly breathtaking around here and perfect for any outdoorsy people. Hill walking, fishing, biking, running and horse riding are just some of the things available to you. The village itself has an amazing ice cream parlour, a gem of an antique shop and Gordon Castle, along with it's walled garden, play park and restaurant, is just a short walk away. There really is something for everyone here.
