South Downs on your doorstep
Dyke View is based in a small village with a view of the South Downs from the back garden and many walks from the doorstep.
The house comes with a friendly easy going resident cat.
The house is Victorian, with lots of character, a wood burning stove, wooden floor boards. The kitchen is compact but is fitted with all the basic requirements of a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, washing dryer machine. The bathroom is recently renovated with a powerful shower.
The house has two double bedrooms and one bedroom which is an office and a singe sofa bed.
The TV has freesat channels and there is wifi.
There are beautiful views from the south facing 150 foot garden, a BBQ / fire pit and tables and chairs for summer meals outside.
About the location
The village has a pub (opposite the house), which serves really good food. There is also a church and within 10 minutes walk there is a farm shop and cafe.
The hous eis based in the South Downs National Park and there are endless walks with stunning views.
Gatwick Airport is 20 minute train journey, London is 60 minutes away by train. Hassocks is the nearest train station which is less than 15 minutes by car. There are a few small towns which have coffee shops, deli's, bakeries all within 10 minutes drive. The seaside city of Brighton is about 20 minutes by car and there is a local bus service.
