Originally 2 cottages, this stone house was built in 1850.
The kitchen has an Aga for cooking on and helping to keep the kitchen warm and cosy.
Master bedroom has a superking size bed ( 6ft wide ), 2 other bedrooms have double beds.
The house is opposite a working Dairy farm & 5 minues walk from the beach.

Gateway to Scotland and the Lake district. Lake Windermere about an hours drive, Glasgow & Edinburgh about 2 hours drive.

All the bedrooms have TV's with freeview boxes.

Looking for a swap sometime before Christmas for anthing upto about 6 weeks, though my partner would need to be back in the house after about 3/4 weeks, but we are happy to share the house.

We are experienced house sitters with very good reviews on another website.

About the location

A pub is less than 5 minutes walk from the house and serves great food.
Nearest shops are 6 miles away.
A car is essential.
Carlisle is the closest city and offers a fast train into London ( 3.5 hours )
