LUXURIOUS VICTORIAN HOME UPGRADED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD - 30 MINS FROM CENTRAL LONDON

We have recently moved back into our beautiful semi-detached Victorian home in South West London. The house was originally build in 1864 but has now been upgraded to the highest possible standard.

On the ground floor there is a beautiful formal living room that opens onto a family room with a "huge" curved HDTV. Moving further through the house you will enter the glass double-height dining room with bar.

Then on to the crème de la crème of the house - the kitchen. Fitted with state of the art Gaggenau appliances, and opening fully onto the beautiful landscaped gardens, this is a cooks dream kitchen.

On the first floor there is a very large master bedroom with a super-king sized bed and ensuite bathroom with separate shower. This room spans the width of the house and is beautiful to wake up in.

Walking through a landing with a glass balustrade that overlooks the glass dining room, you will find what we like to call "The Hotel Room". This large double bedroom is entirely self sufficient with it's own bathroom and beautiful fitted wardrobes.

On the 2nd floor you'll find 2 very large double bedrooms and a shared bathroom complete with separate shower.

There is a driveway in the front of the house. Both front and back gardens have been very tastefully landscaped. The back garden has plenty of space for outdoor living and has a dining area directly outside the kitchen and a relaxation area towards the back of the garden.

About the location

Teddington is a beautiful village located on the edge of Bushy Park which is one of London's Royal Parks. Bushy Park is filled with wild deer and a whole host of other wildlife. If you enjoy running, cycling or playing in the park, then Bushy is the place for you. The park is a 10 minute walk from the house or a 2 minute drive.

A 15 minute walk will take you to Teddington Lock which is absolutely beautiful and spans the River Thames. This is one of my favourite spots in Teddington. There are lovely pubs to sit and watch the water world go by and enjoy the sunshine and a drink.

The high street is full of independent boutiques and several independent coffee shops and restaurants so you'll never be short of a pit stop after all the shopping. However the high street really retains the village feel and everybody is so friendly.

Richmond is a 15 minute car journey away offering the amazing Richmond Park (another Royal Park), beautiful views of the Thames and many more independent shops. Also close by is Kingston-upon-Thames that offers all the high street department stores you could wish for.

If you want to venture into Central London, the train station is an 8 minute walk from the house. The journey into London takes 30 minutes on the train. The trains run every half hour but there are also 2 other train stations nearby. One takes 10 minutes and the other takes 12 minutes to walk so there are always plenty of trains to get you into and out of Central London.

The weather in the South East of England is beautiful from March to the end of September and sometimes longer. We have the odd shower but nothing that should dampen your spirits whilst on vacation here.

The house is only a 20 minute drive from Heathrow Airport and about 20 minutes in the car to the M25 so it's very conveniently placed but feels like you're nowhere near all the hussle and bussle.
