Detached family home in pretty area of Sale, outskirts of Manchester

The house a spacious 3 bedroom house is located on a pleasant road in Sale which is on the South of Manchester, bordering Cheshire. The house is ideally located for a city break since it is only 5 miles from Manchester City Centre or a more active family break.

The house is part of a pretty estate of unusual designed striking black and white Danish houses. It is detached and has 2 living rooms, one which is very family friendly with boxes of toys and 50" tv and the second which is a more civilised adult room. The kitchen is large modern room with double oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher and dining table with 4 chairs and high chair. Upstairs there is a family bathroom with power shower over the bath and bedrooms, 2 double rooms (one currently has a mattress on floor rather than bed) and children's bedroom with a single bed and cot and loads of books and toys. I can provide airbeds and travel cot if more beds are required. There is a pleasant garden with lots of toys.

The house is not perfect but a spacious, pleasant and practical family home with stair gates at top and bottom of stairs. There is Wifi and Amazon prime is available on the TV.

About the location

Manchester City centre can be accessed by car in 15 minutes, bus from top of road or the tram is about 15 minute walk. Within the city centre there is loads to do including visiting historical buildings like Manchester Town Hall, John Rylands Library, brilliant free museums including Museum of Science and Industry and Manchester University Museum, and Media City.
Closer to the house, Sale Moor village is a 5 minute walk and includes all of local amenities you need like 2 butchers, a bakers, a post office, few cafes, restaurants, etc. 15 minute walk will take you to Sale Town which has a pleasant shopping centre and a number of large Supermarkets, a canal which has recently been improved and modernised and is great for a walk or family bike ride with a number of restaurants accessable from it. There is also Sale Waterside Arts Centre in Sale town centre which puts on great art exhibitions and family theatre performances. 15 minutes walk in the other direction takes you to Sale Watersports Centre which is great for sailing and other Watersports activities and bike hire.
15 minute drive away are lots of other attractions including Manchester United, Trafford Centre (a huge indoor shopping centre with many restaurants and family attractions including Lego Land, Sea Life Centre, Chill Factore indoor ski slope, cinema, bowling, play areas and many other attractions). 2 National Trust parks Dunham Massey and Tatton Park which are beautiful parks including manor houses, are close by. A number of pleasant Cheshire towns including Altrincham and Hale are a short drive away and are are great for walking and nice restaurants.
