Built in 1892, our 3 bed Victorian terrace is perfectly located, just 12 miles from the Jurassic coast world heritage site, 20 miles from Dorchester and Weymouth and 37 miles from Bristol and bath. We are on a no through road, with on street parking.

Set over 3 floors, our home has been fully modernised with two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and room to sleep two more on pull out and day beds.

We have a large newly fitted kitchen and bathroom with separate walk in shower and bath. We have two cosy reception rooms, both with log burners.

We have a beautiful back garden, with patio and bbq area. Crossing the stream at the bottom of the garden, leads on to a communal allotment area where you can pick veggies from our patch. We have 4 chickens, who will lay eggs for you in exchange for feeding.

We are a two minute walk from the village, which has everything you need including two super markets, gym and swimming pool, library and tourist information and St Bartholomew's church dating back 1000 years. We have an independent deli, butcher and there is a farmers market monthly and veg market weekly.

We also have wi-fi, gas central heating, washing machine, tumble dryer and everything to make your stay comfortable.

We have a dog, so very well behaved pets are welcome.




About the location

Crewkerne is a busy little Somerset market town Of about 7000 residents. The town retains much charm from the bustle of previous centuries and has some very attractive neo-Georgian architecture in it's honey-coloured stone. Famous for the manufacture of sails, It's a quiet, laid back place More famous today for its many antique shops.

Crewkerne is lucky to have a wide selection of eateries ranging from small cafes to traditional pubs and a selection of take aways.

There is an abundance of public footpaths leading into the Dorset and Somerset countyside, you can find walking maps at the town tourist information.

Crewkerne is ideally located on the Somerset/Dorset/Devon border. It's 30 minutes from the world famous Glastonbury, reputed to be the home of King Arthur and which now boasts the largest outdoor music festival in the UK. It's also about 45 minutes from the world heritage site of Stonehenge and if you're looking for something more cosmopolitan you can catch a train from Crewkerne station to the University City of Exeter in 45 mins/ direct train into London in 2.5 hours.
