Our lovely 5 bedroom chalet with hot tub is in the beautiful village of St Gervais and has fantastic mountain views

Our chalet is a lovely 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom chalet with log fire and hot tub situated close to the centre of St Gervais and just a few minutes drive from the ski lift. The large sunny balcony and garden are perfect for a summer holiday in the alps.

The chalet is situated 15 minutes' walk from the heart of St Gervais and its elevated position on the mountainside allows incredible 180° views from its large living area and with 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms.

We have a wood burner in the lounge and an outdoor hot tub. Also upstairs is a snug with TV and Play Station 3

The chalet has a huge balcony with deck chairs and table which look out onto the large terraced garden and beyond to Mont Joly, the Domes de Miage and the Aravis.

The chalet has Freesat UK television and we have a selection of books and board games.

Please note that our chalet is strictly no-smoking.

I'm sorry but our chalet is not available during July and August or from 20 December to early April.

About the location

Located in the French northern Alps and situated at the feet of Mont Blanc, St Gervais has stunning scenery and a wide variety of things to do. In the winter it is cold and snowy but the snow is (usually) gone from the village in April. Spring, summer and autumn are beautiful and we regularly get hot summers where temperatures are between 25-30 degrees. Although we do get the occasional thunderstorm in summer.

Saint Gervais is a beautiful savoyard village with a friendly atmosphere. It is home to
Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc and has been a popular holiday destination for over a hundred years. There are a number of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants and every Thursday morning there is a market and the village's main square is a hive of activity. The towns of Megeve and Chamonix are just a 20 minute drive away should you wish to
explore a little further.

St Gervais has a huge number of activities on offer. It is popular with walkers and cyclists in the summer - it is one of the starting points for the Tour du Mont Blanc. The Mont Blanc Tramway can be taken from Saint Gervais to the Bellevue plateau (1800m) or up to the Bionnassay glacier and it's used by walkers or those who are climbing Mt Blanc.

For those who would like to relax a little St Gervais' famous thermal spa offers complementary therapies and massage. The village also has a beautiful swimming pool open all year round, with 3 pools, one indoor 25m pool, one indoor children's pool and one outdoor pool (outdoor only open during the summer). There's also an olympic sized ice rink, clay tennis courts (with international tennis tournament in June) and a great mini-golf course. Mountain bikes are easy to hire in the town too.
