Our house is located in the village of Marsh Gibbon. It is a two story brick built house with oak floors and wood burning stove. It has 3 bedrooms for your use (one ensuite), a main family bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen is well equipped and has a central island with bar stools when you wish to eat informally. There is also a dining room. There are gardens to the front and rear of the house.

About the location

Marsh Gibbon is a pretty village with many thatched houses, two old pubs (both serving good food), a church and farms. It is quite a lively village and boasts the oldest 'Friendly Society' which celebrates with an annual feast day.
It is located 10 minutes drive away from the popular Bicester Village Shopping Outlet and a 25 minute drive to Oxford. London is just an hour away or you can get there by train in less than an hour from Bicester railway station. Also within an hour's journey are Blenheim Palace, Stow, Waddesdon Manor and Stratford Upon Avon. Buses run from the village also. The area is great for walking and cycling.
