Terraced Edwardian house in rural village

Our home is stuated in the lovely parish of Leighton-Linslade, situated in the countryside of Bedfordshire. Linslade is located along the Grand Union Canal and as such offers miles of walks along the Greensand Ridge Trail, cycling along the towpaths or hire a canal boat for a couple of days. Leighton Buzzard is situated on the west coast mainline and has a fast train to London (30 mins), Birmingham (1 hour) or the 'new city' of Milton Keynes (10 mins) which boasts the UK's only (indoor) skiing slope at the Xscape centre. The surrounding countryside is rich in historical villages and hamlets including Bletchley, home to Bletchley Park, the site of the WW2 Enigma machine. Local restaurants, shops, markets and farms abound and there are an abundance of parks, forests, nature trails and a couple of zoos within 15 minutes of our front door. The house itself is a 2 storey, terraced house with a quaint garden which has BBQ facilities.

About the location

There are fishing lakes, Golf courses, hiking trails, a gliding plane club. Also Milton Keynes has a Theatre and we have a small local theatre in Leighton Buzzard which also hosts a town market on Tuesday's and Saturdays
