NOTE: Downstairs space is rented by a young couple who are locals in area. Although space is visable, they have own private access. Laundry is shared. As a plus, they are both locals with a lot of great information on the area.
About the location
Howick is a lovely quiet area.
The village consists of some great bars and restaurants, as well as bakeries, clothing stores and a weekend market.
On low tide, you can walk around the sand and rocks and explore the various beaches.
For an inner city trip the trains and buses run regularly, and a drive will take you 30 - 45 mins.
