Welcoming 1 bedroom apartment with private garden

Now looking for a long weekend exchange in a European city on 7-11 December + a few days over New Year's eve.
Our 1 bedroom apartment with private garden is located a modern, lively, safe area, very well connected to the city center.
The main living area is light and bright, directly connected to our private garden with its beautiful olive tree. The little kitchen is equipped with fridge and freezer, dishwasher, cooker and a microwave/multifunction oven. And of course an italian coffee machine (moka).
Our bedroom, also overlooking the garden, is quite wide, with a king bed (sleeps 2).
A sofa-bed in the living rooms sleeps 2 more people.
The bathroom is spacious, with bath-tub and shower. A washing machine will be at your disposal as well as high-speed WIFI (sorry, no TV!)
The apartment is located in a private courtyard, with very respectful neighbors and doorman.
We used to have a cat, Milù, who is in the pictures...she is unfortunately not with us anymore, so the apartment would be at your complete disposal with no pet-care required.

About the location

Our neighborhood is called "Bicocca". It is a relatively new urban area in Milan. It used to be an industrial site, which was renovated about 15 years ago.
It's in the north of the city, very well connected to the center with the new M5 metro line, which will take you there in 15 minutes (the M5 metro stop is about 8 minutes walk from our place). Then there's buses, tramway, another M1 metro line stop not far...We are only 20 minutes by car from Linate airport, only 15 minutes by bus from the Central Railway station.
The neighborhood is lively and fun, it is a University area but also a residential area and the location of theheadquarters of a few very big companies.
The Arcimboldi Theatre is literally opposite our street...there's a supermarket and bars and restaurants all around, plus a shopping center with cinema just a few steps away. And the Hangar Bicocca art & events location is also close by.
Milan is rich in cultural events and of course it's the italian capital of shopping and fashion. 7 and 8 December are holidays in Milan (patron saint's festival) and there's lots to do and see!
Moreover, there are many lovely places to visit around Milan...the lake of Como, Turin, Verona, Mantua...and Venice is just 2 and a half hours away by train!
We love it around here and we hope you'll love it too!
