150 year old stone house

This is a large stone house from circa 1870. We have the ground floor and a basement. There are 3 other couples who live in the larger house, we share the front entrance and communal hall and drive.
We have a large lounge with with 2 large sofas, dinning table in the bay window overlooking the tree lined street, a large kitchen, other sofas and breakfasting island.
Downstairs are 3 bedrooms, master double en suite, large 2nd bedroom with bunk beds and small middle room with 1 cabin bed and single sofa bed if required. There is a reasonable sized shower room for the other bedrooms. There is a 5 ft snooker/pool table situated in the downstairs internal hall.
Bikes can be made available for 3or 4. People
There is a small outdoor area but botanical gardens are less than 5 mins walk from the house

About the location

The west end is a lovely, vibrant area of Glasgow with a variety if bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, parks, cinema on your doorstep. The location is perfect as it is close to Glasgow university, the transport museum, art galleries, botanic gardens and the river Kevin.
Transport wise it is very well connected, a subway is a less than 5 min walk from the house. This can take you to city centre in 7 mins and to the main train stations for travel around the rest of the UK, Scotland or to Edinburgh - door to door can take 1hr 10 min!

The area is excellent for travelling around Scotland, the main route to the north of Scotland and western isles is 2 minutes from our street, you can drive to Loch Lomand in 30 minutes. Similarly, major motorway links are approx 10 minutes from home for other routes North or South.
