A spacious 4 bedroom bungalow home located in Barna, Galway. 15 mins drive to Galway city centre, 5 mins drive to seaside town of Salthill and a perfect situation for exploring Connemara and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Our home boosts a generous 1 acre garden great for kids, complete with trampoline, swing set, outdoor eating area and bbq. 2 living areas, dining room that seats 14, fully equipped kitchen with casual dining table and utility room. Bedrooms comprise of master bed with superking bed, apple tv and shower en-suite, bedroom 2 also has shower en-suite and double bed, bedroom 3 contains a triple sleeper (single on top and double on bottom) and the 4th bedroom has a single cabin bed suitable for a child up to age 8/9. We have a small home gym consisting of a treadmill, bike and free weights.

Our living rooms both have extensive satellite tv and numerous games consoles (xbox1, xbox 360, wii) as well as an apple tv and home computer and printer. There is wifi available throughout the house. We also have lots of family board games you are welcome to use and 3 adult bikes, 2 kids bikes and a baby seat as Galway is a great place to see by bike

We live in a beautiful coastal location adjacent to the picturesque village of Barna. The village is totally self-contained with regard to all shopping and restaurant requirements e.g. supermarket, fish shop, health food store, chemist ,pattiserie, laundrette, three restaurants and a boutique hotel. Barna is 8 kms / 10 minute drive West of Galway city and there is a regular bus route to the city centre. Galway is the third largest city in the country known as ‘Ireland’s Cultural Heart’ and ‘its Bi-lingual Capital’. It is renowned for its numerous festivals and events – Galway Food Festival (Easter), Galway Arts Festival (July); Film Festival(July) ; Horse Races(July/August); Oyster Festival(September); Childrens' Arts Festival (October)...

Our home is perfectly located at the gateway to scenic Connemara and is ideal for accessing many tourist attractions such as the Aran Islands, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara National Park, Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher.

There are also numerous local attractions within 5 / 10 minutes drive of our home: Barna Woods; Natural Bog / Coastal Walks; Rusheen Bay (kayaking and windsurfing school); Galway Atlantaquarium and Spiddal village / craft centre.

Our home is directly across the road from the Barna Golf course (one of Galway's many courses), not only perfect for keen golfers but providing beautiful views.

Shannon/Knock airports are an easy 1hour 30minute drive from our home.
Dublin airport is a comfortable 2hour drive.
