Low set home in quiet beachside suburb

Our home is low set in a quiet suburb very close to surfing beaches, rainforest, The living area has bamboo wood floors. We have reverse cycle air conditioning.

There is a small garden at the rear. It is approximately 10-15 minutes walk to Tacking Point Lighthouse and Lighthouse Beach. There is a regular bus service into the centre of Port Macquarie (bus stop at the end of the street). There is a small local shopping centre with cafés and a post office and a local Coles Supermarket. Driving into the centre (easy parking) takes approximately 7 minutes.

Travel to beautiful Port Macquarie, New South Wales and you will find a coastal township featuring all the beauty of the beach set alongside gorgeous national parks, an array of attractions, and a township offering great restaurants, cafes and shopping. The Glasshouse Theatre offers entertainment of many genres.
Port Macquarie Australia is located halfway between the Gold Coast, Qld and Sydney, NSW on the New South Wales coast at the mouth of the Hastings River. The weather in Port Macquarie is beautiful all year round and temperatures range from 20c to 32c in summer and from 8c to 21c in winter.
Getting to and from Port Macquarie is easy. You can drive there yourself or fly into the town via its own domestic airport. There are also regular inter-city coach services and train services at nearby Wauchope.
It is the site of one of the penal settlements in Australia and has an excellent Historical Museum.
Some of the activities you can enjoy in Port Macquarie are swimming and surfing, bushwalking or simply strolling in the National Parks, cycling, learning about Australian animals at the Koala Hospital or at the Billabong Zoo. There are a number of local wineries. Whale watching is also popular between May and October.
