Family home in South London

Our semi-detached Edwardian house will comfortably house 7 adults, and is suitable for children. If 2 adults don't mind sleeping on a comfortable couch, then the house can accommodate them.

The main bedroom has a double bed with ensuite.
The second bedroom has a king size bed.
The third bedroom has 2 single beds (one pull out).
The fourth bedroom has a toddler's bed, so a small child is welcome in addition to the adults.
There is a fold out couch in the play room, which can fit two adults at a push, but more comfortably fits one adult.
There is a comfortable L-shape lounge in the main reception room, on which we have often had guests sleep on so 2 more people can sleep there.
There is a family bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs, in addition to the en-suite in the main bedroom.

There is a separate large eat-in kitchen with full amenities. We like to cook/bake so you won't be short of utensils! There is a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The large back yard is accessed by the kitchen and playroom,

In the play room, which leads to the large backyard, children (and adults) are well catered for with lots of puzzles, books, games, duplo, movies, playstation (including Netflix, Amazon Prime and games like Guitar Hero) and acoustic guitar.

The reception room has a 50" flatscreen TV and stereo for when you want to relax.

High-speed Wi-Fi is available.

About the location

Streatham has a lot to offer visitors and is particularly convenient for families. It's close enough to central London to go exploring but far enough to have a sense of space, which is quite limited in London sometimes!

Streatham Common is a 5 min walk from the house and there is a children's playground. If you walk up the Common you'll find the Rookery, which is lovely for a picnic and for the kids to explore.

There are some great places to eat and drink, particularly if you head up towards Streatham Hill. You are walking distance from several great pubs too (including the Railway opposite Streatham Common station, and The Earl Ferrers, about 20min walk from the house). There is a large Sainsbury's (10min walk) and 24hr Tesco (15min walk) too.

Streatham is conveniently placed between train lines that take you to:
Gatwick Airport (within 30mins, train to East Croydon and swap to Gatwick line. You can also go into Victoria and catch the express train back, but that takes longer, though it costs less!)
Kings Cross St Pancras (within 20mins, every 30mins from Streatham Station)
London Bridge (within 30mns, every 30mins from Norbury, Streatham Common or Streatham stations)
Luton Airport (within 1 hour, every 30mins from Streatham Station)
Milton Keynes (within 2 hours, every hour, from Norbury and Streatham Common stations)
Victoria station (within 20mins, every 15 mins from Norbury or Streatham Common stations)

The closest underground stations are:
Balham, Northern Line (2 stops from Norbury station, 1 stop from Streatham Common station)
Brixton, Victoria Line (25-30 min bus ride from bus stop 2 min walk from the house)
