Quiet country cottage

Our home is comfortable and much loved if a little scruffy. Outside there is a pull in driveway for one to two vehicles and steps down to our front door. Inside there is a small hallway, lounge and quite large kitchen/diner. There is also a downstairs toilet that doubles as a chaotic tool cupboard and is little used although one day it will be a lovely shower room! Upstairs there are one double bedroom and two singles (one large, one small). Out the back door is our garden featuring a table tennis table and a full size trampoline as well as fruit trees, veg patches, herbs, a pond and three out buildings. The best outbuilding is a wooden cabin at the bottom of the garden that can be used as an additional bedroom or a relaxing room in which to enjoy our view. We have a computer for watching dvds and a Wii for fun but no television. There is wifi and a hundred different games to play! We have a very friendly cat called Quasar.

About the location

Our location is the perfect combination of town and country. Our garden backs on to Farthing Downs, a beautiful slice of protected North Downs offering a wealth of lovely walks but we are only five minutes from a London bus route and twenty minutes walk from a mainline rail link into London (taking 20 minutes to reach London Bridge or London Victoria). We are also five minutes from the main A25 route between London and Brighton and the circular M25 (about 20 minutes drive from Gatwick).
