Well presented family home in the commuter village of Hilton, 8 miles south of Derby

Our home is in good condition and well looked after.

The main bedroom has a super king size bed, wall mounted television and en suite bathroom with shower.

Our girls' bedrooms have cabin beds, desks and storage space, with plenty of toys available.

Downstairs we have an open plan living room and dining/office area, with extending dining table to seat up to 6.

The conservatory doubles as a playroom/ tv room with 42 inch TV, Sky Sports etc.

The kitchen has oven, hob, microwave oven.

The utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier

The garden is ideal for kids, with climbing frame, basketball net and trampoline, plus a large outdoor table and chairs for dining in the summer.

We can offer use of our Kia Sportage car for the duration of the stay provided that you arrange insurance cover.

We do have a goldfish named Lily, who will need a pinch of fish food once a day.

Hilton is situated just of the main A50 road, within easy reach of Derby, Stoke on Trent, Nottingham and Leicester.

About the location

Hilton is situated in South Derbyshire, with Derby the closest city at only 12 km away.

There are regular bus services from the end of our street into Derby and Burton-on-Trent, home of the UK brewing industry

Derby is famous for manufacturing industry as the home of Rolls Royce, but also has a historic and cultural centre.

Half an hours drive from Hilton will take you into Matlock Bath in the Derbyshire Dales, a tourist hub featuring Gullivers Kingdom and the Heights of Abraham.

Chatsworth Estate is only 45 mins away by car.

Within an hour you will reach the Derbyshire Peak District, with superb views, hill-walking and underground cavern tours.

The historic spa town of Buxton is only an hour away.

For those interested in watersports, Foremark Sailing Club is about 15 minutes away by road
