About the location

The apartment is centrally located and is just a few minutes walk from the Minster and City walls. The shops and restaurants are the same short distance away. There is no need for a car as many attractions including a National Trust property and museums, including the railway museum are within walking distance. If you wish to travel a little further within an hour you can reach the coast, and other major towns and cities of interest such as Leeds, Harrogate and Newcastle. The train services are frequent as it is on the main line to London and Scotland. There are beautiful gardens within a short drive and the Yorkshire Dales is only an hour away.
