Great small terraced house base for exploring London

We have a modern terraced 3 bedroomed house with a parking space in our front garden and a patio back garden. We have wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, which is open plan: kitchen, dining area and lounge (with wood burning stove!) plus a small toilet/cloakroom by the front door. Kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher, washer-drier, cooker etc. Back door opens into a small well planted patio garden with outdoor sofa and chairs. Upstairs we have 3 bedrooms (2 singles and a double) all with fitted wardrobes and a shower room (no bath) recently refurbished with a lovely walk-in shower. We have 3 bikes you can use.

About the location

We are centrally located in 'hip' Hackney, East London, in a small row of terraced houses. Hackney is a diverse and vibrant borough, our area has become 'gentrified' recently with the olympic site on our doorstep, there are lots of nice pubs, restaurants, a butchers and even a fishmongers at our local shops - known as Victoria Park Village. At the end of our road is Victoria Park and the canal where you can walk to the olympic site in one direction or Islington in the other. London Fields, Broadway Market and Columbia Road flower market are 5-15 minutes walk. Nearest tubes are Mile End and Bethnal Green (10 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride). Nearest overground is Hackney Central. London's West End is 30-40 minutes by bus, 15 minutes by tube.
