The house is spacious and comfortable; it has been well looked after and has all modern conveniences. It has an ample deck overlooking the large garden with palm trees to provide shade. There are two very large bedrooms (each with a double bed), one bedroom has an en-suite and one has immediate access to the main shower room. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a large comfortable lounge/dining room with TV. (There is a third bedroom, but this is used mainly as a workroom.)
There is a good internet connection and TV in the lounge.

About the location

Located on the northern beaches of Sydney, about an hour north of Sydney CBD, Avalon is a small, select suburb which has a wonderful surfing beach. The beach is just 10 minutes walk from my home and there are many other beaches within easy reach by car. There are also many opportunities to explore the surrounding countryside on foot. There is a very regular bus service that takes you direct to the city, passing over the Harbour Bridge with glimpses of the Opera House.
Avalon has several boutiques, restaurants and cafes serving excellent coffee. It also has specialist food shops, a post office, chemist, banks, a supermarket for all your needs and a cinema.
It is home to many artists and there are often art exhibitions to while away the time.
