Lovely, modern townhouse in the heart of South London.

We live in a Mid-century modern, 1960's house with 2 reception rooms and 3 bedrooms spread over 3 floors, and a small garden with a large trampoline. The top floor consists of 2 children's bedrooms (one with a double bed) and a bathroom. Our kitchen, eating and living areas are all on the middle floor, often bathed in sunlight from the large windows on either side. A further living area and main bedroom are located on the ground floor, both with doors opening onto the garden, as well as a second bathroom and small artist's studio.

About the location

West Norwood has a friendly, diverse community with many young families. There are local supermarkets on the high street, all within a 10 minute walk, as well as an excellent local, independent Deli about 1 minute from our front door. Also within a 10 minute walk are some lovely pubs, serving great food, as well as the new West Norwood Health and Leisure Centre. There is also a community-driven street market every month, called the West Norwood Feast.

Buses which stop just around the corner take you directly into the centre of London, excellent for trips to Covent Garden, art galleries and West End theatres (and excellent for getting you home again after a show). There are also many buses to neighbouring Brixton, which is also our local tube station. Brixton has gained a reputation as a "cultural mecca" over the last few years, thanks to its bustling, urban nightlife, its restaurants and famous market, a visit to Brixton Village's artisan eateries and vintage shops is a must. We are also very close to two train stations which offer speedier services, straight into central London.
