we have a recently renovated four bedroom home. living room on the middle floor as the house is built on a slope and there is a downstairs bedroom and shower room a huge kitchen diner and sitting room with stunning views and 2 double bedrooms and one single upstairs. we keep two chickens two cats and have two wood burning stoves and 1/3 acre garden. you will need a car!
About the location
we live five minutes from a main road down a track on the ashdown forest (area of outstanding naturall beauty. there are several houses nearby but there is no street lighting and we are in the middle of a huge national park - which is fabulous for walking !
there is a village store about 8 mins walking or a nearer town forest row or uckfield/crowborough about 15 mins drive for main supermarket etc. the coast is half an hour as is brighton for theatres etc and there are some lovely local pubs and resturants to eat out in. We are about 15 mins from a train station but half and hour from Gatwick airport and you can get a train into London if you want to do the sights though east sussex and brighton really do have a lot to offer.
