Italian retreat

We have a stunning house situated between the sea and the mountains in Abruzzo, Italy. The house is a typical Italian property so the accommodation is on the first floor. Steps up from the side to the front door. We have a long entrance hall, large kitchen, large lounge, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. There is access to a big balcony from the kitchen to the bedroom which has fabulous views of the Gran Sasso mountains.
The house is situated on a large plot which includes an olive grove, small garden, outbuildings, pizza oven.

On the ground floor is a garage and storage facilities.

About the location

Bisenti is a short 5min drive . This local town has all facilities eg school, shops, bank, pizzerias, medical facilities.
There is an open air swimming pool within walking distance which has full bar and restaurant facilities. Nominal entry charge for a day or half a day.
We also have several agriturismo type restaurants locally which offer typical Abruzzo food. Generally 20-25 euros for a 4 course meal including wine.More sophisticated restaurants can be found in Pescara and Teramo.
The eastern coast of Italy has many miles of clean sandy beaches

Sightseeing - Rome is a 2 hour drive/ also a good bus route
Marche - another region of Italy
San Marino - independent state in Italy

Nearest airport – Pescara ( 45 mins) . Ryanair to Stansted airport approx. 2 hours 20 mins
Nearest beaches – Pescara ( 40mins)
Nearest ski slopes – Gran Sasso/Maiella mountain ranges (45 minutes)
