Our house is a detached property, situated within a private Close or cul-de-sac. There is no through road. It is a double-fronted house, built in the Georgian style. It is a very quiet area, although a few yards away is the main road to London (the A23). The windows are double-glazed and the walls insulated, so traffic noise is negligible.
Downstairs: Large living room, separate dining room, well-equipped kitchen & visitors cloakroom.
Upstairs: 3 large bedrooms and one bedroom used as a study. Family bathroom, with bath/WC & shower. 2nd bathroom with shower/WC.
Outside: 100ft garden - front section: lawn & flower beds; back section; vegetable plots.
We are walking distance to the centre of Purley, where a large supermarket and other shops are at hand plus buses to all parts of London & the surrounding area. Slightly further up is the main railway station with frequent trains to London Victoria (45 minutes) and London Bridge (35 minutes). On the main A23, a few yards from the front door is a bus stop as well.
Parking is available in our drive and or on the road outside the house.

It is a pleasant middle class area, mostly residential with various amenities such as restaurants, a library, shops, public swimming pool, parks and areas of outstanding nearby suitable for walking.
One of the most important aspects of the area is the availability of excellent transport links.
