About the location
Fulham is very central, places like Sloane Square and Notting Hill are only 10 minutes on the tube, as well as central London in 20 minutes. There are several buses from Fulham Broadway. With traditional architecture, there is a relaxed feel here, especially around Parsons Green and Eel Brook Common. In 2012 it was voted as the UK’s most desirable area. Families are drawn here and because of the nearby Lycée, there is a thriving French community.
One of Fulham’s main attractions is the variety of shops and restaurants. From a commercial shopping centre to street and farmers’ markets, design boutiques and handmade furniture stores, this area offers a huge variety.
North End Road has a bustling fruit and vegetable market with many different nationalities
Fulham Road for boutiques and clothes
Wandsworth Bridge Road for fabric, furniture and antiques
Lots Road – Chelsea Design Centre, massive antique shops and auction houses
Lillie Road for antique and vintage furniture shops
Fulham Broadway shopping centre has high street names, cafes, restaurant chains, a cinema and health club and locals walk through the centre to get to the tube station.
