A large family house, comprising of 3 double bedrooms with 2 ensuites. There are two twin children's bedrooms.
On the ground floor, there is a large dual aspect living room (with TV and stereo), and a dining room. There is a playroom/second living area (with TV) with double doors through to a spacious kitchen area.
Oil fired central heating throughout.
A very large garden with trampoline. The house is set within the grounds of the original Ardargie house hotel and backs on to a park area within the Ardargie estate which allows woodland and riverside walks.
This is a child friendly house and the house can accomodate one family but would also be suitable to accomodate 2 families (as each of the 5 bedrooms can accomodate 2 people)
About the location
The house is in a rural location but ideally placed with easy access to both Edinburgh (about 40 miles), Glasgow (about 60m). There is also a local train station in Perth with good rail links across Scotland. It is about 1.5 hours to Aviemore and about 2 hours drive/train to Inverness.
There is a bus from the local village but a car is definitely recommended.
Perth is a lovely market town and is a gateway to the highlands. A perfect location for walks and the great outdoors and an ideal base for visiting many locations in Scotland.
The house is a short drive (20minutes) from the famous Gleneagles (home of the Ryder Cup 2014)and is well worth a visit.
