Our home,is located down a lane,public footpath no through road.Bordered on 2 sides by fields,and the footpath to the other.We are the end cottage of a terrace of 3 all of similar age and appearance.The cottage is stone and granite under a delabole slate roof.Internally we have a galley style kitchen with all mod cons,gas range cooker with electric fan oven,dishwasher,washing machine,microwave.A large conservatory to the rear which opens onto a sunken patio area and level lawned rear garden,which borders fields over the fence.The garden is very private.There is a large open plan lounge area(formerly 2 rooms 6.5m x 5m) with 2 large sofas and 2 easy chairs,a large granite inglenook with logburner.Dvd,stereo with cd and 42" smart tv.Stairs rising to first floor,small landing with doors to large double bedroom, further smaller room with bunk beds,and a another single room.Airing cupboard housing gas central heating boiler.Family bathroom with toilet,basin,shower cubicle and bath with shower
attachment.
To the front of the house there is a further large garden area,with fenced area(our chickens,please feel free to pet the chickens,they are very friendly and help yourself to eggs) and apple trees.2 further lawned areas,another small sunken terrace with chairs.This area is also private and secluded.Gravel drive parking for up to 5 cars.
The access to the front door is via steps and area is laid to gravel mainly.
The house benefits from sun all day morning till night due to its orientation.
*Please note we only have a rotary clothes line,no tumble drier.Also we dont have a freezer.*

About the location

The area is studded with signs of Cornwalls mining past.The house is in a rural location,but close to all amenities needed and very close to beaches and attractions.We are within 31/2 miles of 2 beaches Portreath and Porthtowan,one reknowned for its surfing.1 mile from the Portreath coast road,you can drive to Lands end pretty much following the sea.Hayle which is approx 15 mins drive has 3 miles of golden sands and St Ives is also only 25 mins away.The Devoran to Portreath cycle path is also only 2 miles away.There is a golf course and horseriding stables within 3 miles.There is also a cinema and leisure centre within 3 miles.
A supermarket within 2 miles.Redruth town is 2 miles away,with its mining heritage,has all amenties required for a conveneient stay including mainline train station.We have a good local pub within 20 mins walk.We are also close to tehidy park country club and Heartlands.Carn Brea and the Miners way,Great flat lode is also within 10 mins drive.
Cornwalls principle city Truro is 15mins drive as is Falmouth,with Penzance being about 25 mins away.You can go over to the Roseland penisular on the King Harry ferry which is also about 25 mins from the house.We bought the house based on its central location,everywhere seems local!
