Chiswick is a popular destination in itself but also benefits from being well-connected by public transport (the house is a 4-min walk from Chiswick Park tube) and is close to popular areas like Notting Hill, Richmond and Hammersmith. A tube ride into central London (e.g. Soho) takes 25 minutes. There are lots of areas of interest nearby including Kew Gardens, the River Thames, Richmond Park, and the museums and shops of Knightsbridge and Kensington
