Located in a 25-unit red brick block in a mixed and friendly neighbourhood this is an ideal base to explore the hip north and east of London including the Olympic fringe by Overground, while central and west London is a few stops away on the central (red) line from Liverpool Street. London buses are plentiful and will take you directly to Oxford Street - a pleasant 45 mins through the scenic route of old London Town and its new money skyscrapers.

Being Hackney locals we prefer to cycle - public bikes are right on the doorstep and de Beauvoir Town across the street will soon become a mini-Amsterdam with its traffic-free streets tiny eateries and sumptuously chic gardens .

Victoria Park, Broadway Market, Columbia Road flower Market and Brick Lane are all just a short pedal along the canal towpath. We are long-time residents of the 'hood and can tell you where to find the best weekend brunches, tucked-away galleries, wonkiest discos, and above all where to find the tastiest fresh bread, pastries and coffee in East London!
