Victorian flat in quiet part of Brighton

A 1 bedroom Victorian flat in Kemp Town (east Brighton) with a spacious lounge complete with writing desk in the large bay window overlooking playing fields. You can just about see the sea too! The lounge also has a double sofa bed.

There is a double bedroom at the back of the flat overlooking woodland, a bathroom with shower and bath and a small kitchen with washing machine and drier.

The flat is decorated with antiques and soft furnishings so is a cozy place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing or as a perfect place to come for a creative retreat.

About the location

Brighton is a popular tourist destination and only one hour from London. It boasts many cafes, fine restaurants, independent shops, the ever popular Laines where you can spend a whole day antique shopping, the Royal Pavilion and of course, the seaside.

My apartment is in the eastern part of Brighton, Kemp Town, and is a two minute stroll from St. Georges Road which hosts a number of vintage clothing and antique shops, plus a number of quirky bars, restaurants and cafes. Central Brighton is a 20 minute walk away.

If you want to explore the surrounding areas, there are a number of historic and cultural attractions including Charleston Farmhouse (home of Vanessa Bell and visited by the Bloomsbury set), Leonard and Virginia Woolf's home, Petworth House where Turner painted his masterpieces and Goodwood, to name but a few.
