A beutiful 1/2 m thick stone yellow-ochre walled and stone-roofed (as in the Cotswolds houses) tall 2 storey house with wide hall, second living room/come bedroom (library, 2 settees each becoming a double bed, original built sculptured working open fire place, plasma TV) as you enter on your left, dining room with quality furniture and expanding round table to sit 8 followed by new kitchen we installed in cherry wood on the right. Cooker, double sink, new fridge, microwave more that plenty of plates, pots etc. Very large attractive bathroom we installed furtherrear left (behind living room) with huge bathtub and two types of shower (wall fixed and hand handled), large sink mixer, washing machine, beautifully tiled. Floor to ceiling height at ground floor 2.7 m.

Very large sit out patio at front with 2 very long purpose made wooden tables (stored in side house), huge umbrella (although trees usually sufficient for shade) with lovely views. Barbie and new table tennis table and other goodies (such as snow skis you can ski at Chania resort nearby) i9n storage cottage.

About the location

Pelion is where the Greek Gods went on holiday from nearby Olympus (their main residence). The Queen of Pelion (already a feminist society here in ancient times) had an army of male Centaurs (horses with human torso) to protect her. Jason and the Argonauts set off from here with Argo (an exact replica is moored in Volos port) to search for the Golden Fleece.

Aghios Georghios Nileias is a very popular selective amphitheatrical village which retains its original character and architecture and a new road has been built from Lehonia down below by the sea (near Agria which is near Volos and which later is 1/2 hr drive). Our house is the one but last in the centre of the amphiotheatre below the church and althgough you can drive right up to it the central square is 4 min walk. So one is in the centre of the village but in complete quiet and natural setting/view.

Beautiful villages follow: Pinakates, Vyzitsa, Milies, Lafkos, Milina with swimming at both the Aegean (west) and Pagasitikos Bay 15 min drive below from another direct route from the house via beautiful ano (and Kato( Gatzea villages.
