The Burren is one of the highlights on the Wild Atlantic Way, an unusual area of limestone karst, and a National Park. It is a wonderful place for walking. The village of Kinvara is on the Atlantic Ocean and there are opportunities for swimming, sailing or beachcombing. The university city of Galway, full of cultural attractions, is 33kms in one direction and Ennis, the capital of county Clare, is 35kms in the other.
