Lovely six bed house with pool in South West France

Le Sol is a large, old farmhouse, typical of the region, which has been converted into two comfortable semi-detached gates. The house is situated in the beautiful Vezere Valley, well placed to explore the many historic sites and lovely towns and villages. It has a large open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen downstairs, and a bathroom and three bedrooms upstairs; there is an additional toilet and washbasin downstairs plus washing machine and dryer.

The gate has central heating and guests have use of a large swimming pool.
All necessary kitchen equipment is provided, as are duvet covers, sheets, pillow-cases and towels, including swimming towels.

About the location

The Vezere Valley in the Dordogne is a beautiful part of France with a rich heritage. Our house is a few miles away from Lascaux IV, a famous world heritage site, but the area abounds in sites inhabited from prehistoric times. There are many chateaux in the area to visit plus more energetic activities: canoeing on the river, cycling and walking. For people who prefer a more relaxing holiday there is beautiful countryside to explore, excellent restaurants and plenty of local wine.
