Immaculate Seaside apartment South of Sydney

For exchange is our lovely seaside apartment on the coast South of Sydney.

Our fully renovated and re-decorated seaside retreat is literally 2 minutes walk to quaint, historic Wollongong boat-harbour, and 5 minutes walk to pristine surf beaches, along an extensive coastal walking/cycle path. Fabulous seaside cafes and restaurants are close by. It is located 80km from Sydney with direct rail and road links to Sydney CBD. The apartment has two good-sized double bedrooms, living/dining room, full kitchen and bathroom (with bath and separate shower).

The apartment is located in a refurbished building with full security features.

Car exchange is also possible if required. A free city bus stops in a nearby street. This bus travels to most of Wollongong City's important locations, including a train station with regular direct services to Sydney CBD.

This is our vacation home so NON-SIMULTANEOUS exchange is possible.

We also have a spacious modern family home in Canberra (Australia's beautiful national capital) which can be negotiated as part of the exchange.

About the location

Wollongong is a mid-sized city located close to Sydney on the stunning South Coast of NSW. It is an important cultural hub with a long history in manufacturing industry as well as tourism.

Wollongong is known for its beautiful beaches, and the city provides a very high standard of services to both residents and visitors. The city has vibrant hospitality, entertainment and retail sectors. The Northern villages of Wollongong are the gateway to Royal National Park over the famous Seacliff Bridge.

Wollongong is also the gateway to the long pristine coastline of Southern NSW providing potential for delightful day trips to Shellharbour Village and harbour, Kiama, Minnamurra Rainforest and magnificent Jervis Bay. Further south are coastal hamlets and protected forests, along side the Tasman Sea.

Sydney CBD is an easy train trip away (1.5 hours). The Circular Quay train (change at central station) will transport you right to the Circular Quay precinct, from where Sydney Harbour can be enjoyed via any number of ferry rides. The Sydney Opera House and many other attractions are located here.
